Residents will soon be able to adopt a pet from the Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) again. Starting Tuesday, May 5, Executive Director Bruce Roney says they will start contacting prospective adopters on their waiting list and then people will start to see new animals available for adoption online. Check out the cats who are waiting for their forever home! If you are interested in one of our cats, please fill out our Adoption Application Form. After it has been filled out you would need to come in person with your completed questionnaire to conduct the interview portion. When you come into our shelter for the interview portion you would need to bring a valid photo ID and proof of address. We have several cats right now who are feral and would not be happy indoor companions, but who would be good barn cats. These cats have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV & feline leukemia.
